The Unc Sum was designed with team rider Summer's surf style in mind. While some long boarders prefer cruisey chill waves, Summer loves to push it when the waves are good and cuppy. This pushed me to design a board that could handle solid waves, turn well, and noseride like a dream. I went with a more involvement style longboard bringing the wide point behind center, a narrower tapered nose, and a flip in the tail. It promotes in the pocket surfing and long nose rides when the waves are moving quick. Pair this model with a pivot style fin and you'll have a good time.
